Location: This is a primarily remote role with the need to attend in-person events and meetings in the Greater Boston area on an as needed basis (several times per month at a minimum). Founded in April 2020, MIC has grown into a powerful network grounded in a core belief: when immigrant communities thrive, our entire nation prospers. MIC is a small, grassroots organization working to make a big impact. MIC and our partner organizations deliver life-changing services across Massachusetts, including: Stabilization and emergency assistance Immigrant legal services Workforce development and workers' rights Advocacy to promote immigrant rights MIC expands the capacity of our partners through targeted funding, shared resources, and cross-organizational collaboration. About the Role The Development Director will be the primary architect of MIC's individual and corporate giving strategy — prospecting and cultivating major donors, connecting them to our Executive Director, and serving as a visible ambassador for our mission in the community. This role is for someone who is energized by relationship-building and believes deeply in immigrant justice. High priority will be given to candidates with lived immigrant experience in the United States, preferably in Massachusetts.
