About The Position

The Development Coordinator position provides essential coordination, donor stewardship support, data integrity, and administrative execution that enables successful fundraising across individual giving, corporate partnerships, peer-to-peer fundraising, grants, and events. This is a part-time 30 hrs/week, $21.63/ hour, hybrid position, in which the selected candidate must reside in the general Phoenix, AZ area. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provide day-to-day coordination support for fundraising initiatives, campaigns, events, and donor engagement activities Assist with donor cultivation and stewardship efforts, including acknowledgements, impact reporting, and follow-up communications Support individual giving, corporate giving, foundation, and peer-to-peer fundraising programs as assigned Maintain accurate donor and fundraising data in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or similar platforms) Process donations, pledges, and in-kind gifts in coordination with Finance Run reports, track metrics, and assist with data analysis related to fundraising performance Ensure timely gift acknowledgements, receipts, and donor communications in compliance with nonprofit best practices Prepare correspondence, presentations, proposals, and fundraising materials Other duties as assigned. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, business, marketing, or a related field OR equivalent experience 1–3 years of experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, donor relations, or administrative support preferred Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Experience working with donor databases/CRMs and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must have exceptional internal and external customer service orientation. Must have demonstrated computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook and be familiar with entering data into on-line systems. Should also have basic record keeping and math skills. Demonstrated commitment, passion and compassion for the mission of MADD. Requirements
