The Development Coordinator at Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta plays a vital role in supporting the Fund Development team to achieve fundraising goals. This position involves executing annual campaigns, managing donor stewardship initiatives, and overseeing recurring giving programs. The coordinator is responsible for accurate data entry into the Raisers Edge database, nurturing donor relationships, and assisting with various fundraising activities and events.

  • Create and foster a culture of philanthropy with parents, alums, members, and volunteers.
  • Assist with initiatives to increase peer-to-peer fundraising support.
  • Enter gift and constituent data into Raisers Edge accurately and timely.
  • Manage and issue gift acknowledgments and stewardship to donors.
  • Report regularly and interface with internal stakeholders about shared council initiatives.
  • Assist with prospect research and data entry related to cultivation and constituent relationship tracking.
  • Track and report on Service Unit fundraising and provide training to Service Unit Annual Fund Chairs.
  • Provide excellent customer service support to donors via phone and email.
  • Assist with the preparation and mailing of personalized pledge reminders.
  • Manage an organized filing system for historic giving and engagement information.
  • Oversee stewardship and donor retention initiatives like newsletters and thank you notes.
  • Develop and seek out new ways to improve work processes.
  • Respect the confidential nature of all donor-related information.
  • Research new technologies to strengthen annual fundraising efforts.
  • Provide ongoing support to the Fund Development Team.
  • Execute other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's Degree
