About The Position

The Development Coordinator is an integral support role within the Mass General Development Office, specifically providing administrative and programmatic support to the Major Gifts-Cross-Cutting team. This team is responsible for fundraising across various critical areas, including research, health equity, community health, and healthcare education. The Coordinator will primarily support the Senior Managing Director, who oversees a 30-person team, as well as the Senior Director for International Programs and Activities. Key responsibilities include managing calendars, organizing meeting logistics, handling event tasks, processing business expenses, and making travel arrangements as necessary. Additionally, the Coordinator will track fundraising actions and activities in a donor database, preparing and distributing related reports to ensure effective communication and documentation of efforts. In this role, the Coordinator will collaborate with fellow management support professionals (MSPs) who share similar responsibilities within the department. The Development MSPs are recognized for their talent, dynamism, and value as partners and collaborators across various teams.
