All internship positions are designed to give college students an opportunity to apply techniques learned in an academic setting while obtaining new skills. This is a paid internship offering full-time hours during the summer months. All interns are required to conclude the program by giving a formal presentation on their work. Please note that no relocation assistance or sponsorship is provided for the internship program at this time . Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and creative college student to join our protein development team for a summer internship. Our team is responsible for advancing Bio-Techne’s diverse product portfolio, with a strong focus on high-quality recombinant proteins, including conjugated protein products. In this role, you will contribute to the development and optimization of protein purification processes for recombinant proteins, as well as the conjugation of biotin, fluorescent and other labels. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with both upstream and downstream development teams, gaining exposure to techniques such as molecular cloning, cell culture, and bioassays. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge biotechnology development and manufacturing processes while working in a collaborative laboratory environment. The ideal candidate is technologically adept, innovative, and eager to learn. A solid academic foundation in chemistry and biochemistry will be applied in a modern industrial setting. The program will conclude with a formal presentation summarizing your project and key findings.

Requirements

• Must be a currently enrolled student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to the internship
• Must have completed (at minimum) the sophomore year of college
• Must be able to work full-time during the duration of the internship program

Responsibilities
