In this position as Development Associate, you will play a key role in advancing The Family Place's fundraising efforts by supporting donor engagement, development operations, and fundraising initiatives that secure critical resources for survivors of domestic violence. Working closely with the Development team, you'll help coordinate fundraising activities across individual giving, corporate partnerships, foundation grants, and special events while ensuring donors receive timely acknowledgements, meaningful engagement opportunities, and clear communication about the impact of their support. You'll conduct prospect research that identifies new funding opportunities, manage donor communications that strengthen relationships, and maintain accurate donor data in Raiser's Edge that informs fundraising strategy and decision-making. This role provides an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of development, from annual giving and corporate partnerships to special events and grant support, while contributing to mission-driven work that transforms lives. If you're highly organized, detail-oriented, motivated to build relationships that support long-term philanthropic partnerships, and want to launch your fundraising career at an organization making a real difference for survivors and families, this is your opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to meaningful work from day one.
