About The Position

Easterseals Western and Central Pennsylvania is a non-profit organization providing programs and services to individuals with disabilities/special needs. We are celebrating over 100 years of serving both adults and children with special needs and are proud of our history! Our Development Department is looking for a Pittsburgh based Development Associate. Some travel for special events to Central PA/York is required. Please consider joining our team! The Development Associate is responsible for providing administrative support for all areas of development, fundraising and marketing by working closely with the Vice President of Development and Marketing and all Development Specialists. This includes but is not limited to management of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database, assisting with events, providing administrative support and aiding in the marketing and communications of Easterseals programs and events. This position also assists with social media, website management and other development/marketing activities/initiatives.

Requirements

High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
Knowledge of computer software programs required.
Clear understanding and experience using CRM programs. Bloomerang, Donor Pro, Charity Engine etc. preferred, but not required
Clear understanding of social media and utilization of it to build marketing and awareness.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills required.
Energetic and personable.
Current valid Pennsylvania drivers license and acceptable driving record obtained through the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation required.
Acceptable Criminal Record Check required.

Nice To Haves

Bachelors Degree in Business/Marketing, Communications, etc. preferred.
Three+ years of professional experience in the development or related field preferred.
