About The Position

Two positions are available within the Central Region: one with a portfolio in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa and northern Illinois, and the other with a portfolio in Indiana, Michigan and Ohio. These are hybrid positions, required to work on a Mayo Clinic campus or travel within the assigned territory up to 30-50% as business needs dictate. Must be located either in the Central Region or within driving distance of the Mayo Clinic campus in Rochester, MN. This position will develop and implement fundraising strategies and activities to carry forward the mission and vision of Mayo Clinic. The Development Assistant Director will qualify, cultivate, solicit and steward major gifts prospects to align benefactor interests with the strategic priorities of the institution. The Development Assistant Director will manage a portfolio of approximately 140 prospects with a primary focus on qualifying prospects and closing gifts of $100,000 to $1,000,000. For gift strategies of $1,000,000 or more, will partner with the appropriate Regional Manager (Director//Vice Chair) to develop and implement strategies. Development professionals at Mayo Clinic are required to adhere to the "Donor Bill of Rights" and ethical standards set forth for the department and the institution.
