About The Position

We are seeking a Development & Construction Manager to join a well-established, institutional real estate platform supporting a diverse national portfolio. This role is focused on managing projects across the full lifecycle—from pre-development and entitlements through construction and delivery —with a strong emphasis on industrial assets , as well as build-to-suit, renovation, and expansion projects across multiple property types. The position sits within a collaborative asset management group and offers exposure to a large, active development pipeline with meaningful ownership over project execution, consultant coordination, and capital deployment.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in construction management, development, or owner-side project management
• Demonstrated experience with industrial projects (preferred)
• Strong background in pre-development activities , including entitlements, permitting, and consultant coordination
• Experience managing projects through full construction lifecycle
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, owner-focused environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
• Willingness to work in a hybrid office environment with regular in-person collaboration

Responsibilities

• Lead development and construction efforts from early feasibility and entitlement through construction completion
• Manage architects, engineers, contractors, and third-party consultants to ensure alignment on scope, schedule, and budget
• Oversee cost control, change management, and schedule performance across multiple active projects
• Coordinate closely with internal asset management, finance, leasing, and legal teams
• Support industrial developments, build-to-suit projects, and complex renovations/expansions across a national portfolio
• Ensure projects comply with local zoning, permitting, and entitlement requirements
• Provide clear reporting and risk assessment throughout all phases of development and construction
