About The Position

TeachUNITED [https://teachunited.org/] (TU) delivers a training program designed by teachers, for teachers, to strengthen student outcomes in rural and under-resourced schools. Built as a sustainable, scalable model, our program equips experienced educators with the skills to become in-house coaches, mentors, and professional learning community (PLC) leaders — multiplying impact across entire school systems. Grounded in evidence and guided by real-time data, our approach creates lasting, measurable gains in student achievement and teacher well-being, with a goal of reaching 5 million students by 2030. TeachUNITED is seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Development and Communications Associate to join our ambitious Development Team as we grow our $2 million budget to reach more students every day. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the fundraising and communications operations, particularly through grant writing, database management, and donor stewardship. You will draft grant proposals and donor communications, maintain donor records, and manage various digital and print communication projects to keep our supporters engaged. This is a supportive, remote-first environment, and we are open to candidates anywhere in the US. With two team members based in Northern Colorado, those located in the area will have the opportunity to engage in in-person monthly meetings.
