This position is responsible for implementing ITOM requirements for a new ServiceNow implementation. The role involves supporting the design, development, testing, and implementation of automated processes and workflows for ITOM applications, including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Operational Intelligence, and Cloud Management. Additionally, the developer will automate processes and workflows for gathering, populating, and maintaining CMDB data, configure and maintain the ServiceNow Discovery MID servers, patterns, sensors, probes, Discovery IP ranges, and schedules. The position requires experience with implementation across multiple environments such as Windows, UNIX, and SNMP devices, as well as configuring integrations with other data sources and Cloud Discovery, ensuring that discovery and integrations populate the CMDB. The developer will also identify, configure, troubleshoot, test, and resolve issues, interface with customer team members to capture business requirements, support Service Mapping efforts through scripting and discovery, support CSDM efforts, configure ITOM dashboards, and create requested client reports.
