About The Position

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in San Jose, CA. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Ruby on Rails and Node.js, while delivering robust front-end solutions with React or Angular. Rate Range: $50/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 10+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience.
Strong expertise in Ruby, Ruby on Rails, and Node.js with proven experience in building scalable applications.
Solid front-end development experience using React, Angular, or Vue, along with deep understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and API design.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Ruby on Rails and Node.js.
Build and optimize front-end components using modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices for distributed systems.
Ensure application performance, security, and scalability across all layers of the stack.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions following best practices.
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and mentor junior developers on modern development standards.
