  • Build high-performance, scalable, robust server applications
  • Work very closely with development groups, business liaison teams, operations staff, quality assurance teams, IT security group and server administration groups on various activities related to application integration and system enhancements
  • Participate in application architecture and design review
  • Participate in development, testing, implementation, and support of various enhancements to the systems, services and technologies
  • Produce functional application documentation
  • Provide third level support on application integration issues
  • Bachelor’s degree in science and/or engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in programming and systems analysis
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience using the FIX Protocol
  • Proven software development experience in the Financial Industry
  • Ability to work well with others in a team-based environment
  • Experience in a fast-paced financial market data environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • High motivation level and attention to detail
  • Ability to complete projects on time with minimal supervision
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and tools
  • Experience with Financial products
  • Strong technical knowledge of C/C++ and UNIX/Linux
  • Recent experience with FIX Protocol and the Quick FIX Engine
  • Good technical knowledge of SQL, TCP/IP programming, inter-process communication and network architectures/protocols
  • Technical knowledge of scripting languages (PERL, C-Shell, etc.)
  • Experience with Version Control tools (Git, CVS, etc…)
  • Experience in both UNIX/Linux and Windows environments
  • Strong problem detection, troubleshooting skills and analytical abilities
  • Experience with messaging platforms/APIs (Solace, RMDS, Tibco, etc…)
  • Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for scalable application deployment
  • Annual Salary $170,000 to $185,000
