About The Position
As an Engineer 1 supporting Developer Tools, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of critical tools and platforms used by Nordstrom’s engineering teams, including GitHub, GitLab, Vault CE, and Artifactory. You will be responsible for automating deployments, performing upgrades, patching, and administering these tools, while ensuring they remain highly available and secure. In addition, you will support CI/CD workflows and assist in optimizing the software development lifecycle for engineering teams. This position also requires participation in an on-call rotation to provide timely support for critical systems and tools. This role is ideal for early-career engineers who are passionate about developer productivity, automation, and operational excellence. In this hybrid role, candidates must be available to work onsite at Nordstrom's headquarters in Seattle, WA a minimum of 3 days/week.
