This Developer II / Data Engineer role will be focused on integrating technologies to stream data from our legacy systems and migrated applications into our cloud-based Microsoft Data Fabric environment. They will play a key role in a cross-functional agile development team and will be responsible for the design, architecture, and implementation of various cloud native components. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, collaborative team player, and problem solver. Cloud-native systems are designed to thrive in a dynamic, virtualized cloud environment. These systems make extensive use of Platform as a Service (PaaS), compute infrastructure and managed services. This developer will be well versed in these technologies (particularly within Azure) and possess the skills to quickly adapt and learn new ones. It will require technologies and techniques that are new to many at Expeditors but available and proven in the wider technology domain.
