The OnBase Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise content management (ECM) solutions using the Hyland OnBase platform. This role involves configuring workflows, integrating OnBase with other systems, and ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability of document management solutions. The developer will collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions that streamline processes and improve efficiency.

  • Solution Design & Development: Design, develop, and configure OnBase workflows, WorkView applications, Unity Forms, and Document Composition.
  • Implement custom scripts and automations to enhance system functionality.
  • Integration & Customization: Integrate OnBase with enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, HR systems) using APIs and web services.
  • Develop and maintain APIs for seamless data exchange.
  • System Administration & Support: Perform system upgrades, patches, and maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to OnBase applications.
  • Manage user roles, security settings, and system configurations.
  • Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements.
  • Prepare technical documentation, system diagrams, and user guides.
  • Provide training and support to end-users.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct testing and validation of OnBase solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with best practices for scalability, security, and performance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience with Hyland OnBase development and configuration.
  • Strong understanding of document management and workflow automation.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in C#, .NET, SQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS.
  • Experience with OnBase modules (Workflow, WorkView, Unity API, DIP).
  • Familiarity with system integration and data migration.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • OnBase certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Workflow Administrator).
  • Experience in industries such as healthcare, finance, or higher education.
  • Knowledge of BPM, RPA, or AI technologies.
