Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 18
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Possess the legal right to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language.
  • Current or prior Flight Service, Flight Attendant, and/or Flight Service Instructor/Evaluator experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design preferred.
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Possess strong organizational, planning, and administrative skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook (intermediate skill level required).
  • Ability to storyboard and write instructional text, audio scripts, and video scripts.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with ADDIE Design Methodology.
  • Expertise in instructional design and instructional technology.
  • Experience with Articulate course development software.
  • Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Knowledge of visual design software, including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, After Effects.
  • Experience with Comply365.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update all regulatory Flight Service training materials promptly to ensure accurate, effective and compliant training delivery.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify the training needs of the target audience.
  • Ensure all training materials align with the Advanced Qualification Program Manual (AQPM) and the Aircraft Operator Standard Security Program (AOSSP) requirements and objectives.
  • Develop clear instructional objectives and create content that aligns with those objectives.
  • Design instructional graphics, user interfaces, and final course products.
  • Apply evidence-based instructional design theories, practices, and methodologies.
  • Maintain organized project documentation and course folders.
  • Manage multiple priorities effectively and efficiently, often under competing deadlines.
  • Develop engaging learning activities and compelling course content to enhance knowledge retention and application.
  • Create exercises and activities to support the learning process.
  • Develop supporting materials and media (e.g., audio, video, simulations, role plays, games).
  • Establish criteria for evaluating learner performance and develop assessment tools.
  • Assess the effectiveness of training materials through observation, feedback, and data analysis.
