Auria is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support the development of the Wideband Global Satellite Communications (WGS SATCOM) Global SATCOM Configuration Control Element (GSCCE). The role involves designing and implementing solutions for building, testing, and deploying containerized microservices in a fast-paced environment, focusing on automated deployment and testing for both cloud and on-premises systems.

  • Develop and enhance continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) operations in multiple cloud service environments.
  • Support software quality efforts associated with product deliveries and conduct ongoing lifecycle maintenance of the DevSecOps toolchain.
  • Implement upgrades to the software factory as needed.
  • Conduct automated system testing, integration, and deployment using DevSecOps tools and methods.
  • Recommend and implement upgrades and modifications to DevSecOps workflows and tools/products.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government SECRET security clearance (requires U.S. Citizenship).
  • Strong programming skills in Bash, YAML, Python, PowerShell, and AzureCLI.
  • Experience using GitLab, Ansible, Terraform, Nexus, and Jenkins.
  • Experience using AWS cloud and GCC High.
  • Experience with planning or supporting planning missions over a SATCOM constellation.
  • Experience with Spacecraft configuration and SATCOM resource allocation.
  • Experience using application security concepts and vulnerability remediation techniques.
  • Experience working within an agile system development framework, conducting engineering tasks for a complex system.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage numerous demonstration events simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal, written, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
  • Proficiency with M.S. Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Current U.S. Government SECRET security clearance (required U.S. Citizenship).
  • Experience with software development, test automation, and system automation that supports the development of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Configuration as Code (CaC), and Security as Code (SaC).
  • Expertise with a modern software factory's CI/CD processes, tools, and technologies, including GitLab, Ansible, Terraform, Nexus, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of secure software development methodologies and implementing full-stack infrastructure with a Security First mindset.
  • Knowledge of security standards such as NIST 800-171, STIG Compliance, and Ansible Lockdown.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team using tools like Jira and Confluence.
