As a DevOps engineer, you know how to set up cloud environments and provision computer networking, storage, and virtual networks—ultimately, how to “harness the cloud.” We’re looking for an experienced DevOps infrastructure engineer like you to support our clients as they modernize their IT infrastructures and meet their most challenging missions. As a DevOps infrastructure engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll work closely with cloud architects and engineers to manage server configuration for modern cloud solutions. You’ll apply your skills within a DevOps framework to establish or provision virtual machines or networks to further your clients’ meaningful missions.   • Support clients in modernizing their IT infrastructures.
  • Manage server configuration for modern cloud solutions.
  • Establish or provision virtual machines or networks.
  • Work closely with cloud architects and engineers.
  • Experience in software engineering, including with DevOps.
  • Experience with Bash or Python scripting.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices, including GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
  • Experience with AWS services and Cloud-native architecture patterns, including ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, SageMaker, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM policies, security groups, or network security.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, including AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
  • Experience with security scanning tools.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of experience with Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and security documentation and with disaster recovery.
  • 3+ years of experience with containerization and container orchestration, including Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
  • Experience with serverless architecture, including API Gateway.
  • Experience in full-stack web development, including React or Node.js.
  • Experience with system design, including scalability and reliability.
  • Experience with DevOps monitoring, logging, and alerting, including CloudWatch or Prometheus.
  • Knowledge of container security and runtime protection.
  • Knowledge of security best practices, compliance requirements, compliance automation, and continuous monitoring.
  • AWS Certification, including AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
  • Certification IAT Level II or IAT Level III, including Security+ or CISSP.
