Dark Wolf Solutions is looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to maintain the set of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools and processes used by the development team, and/or to maintain the deployed software product and ensure observability and security across its lifecycle. A successful candidate should be a leader and problem solver with a proven ability to deliver superior results as part of a high performing team in a fast-paced environment. This position requires full-time onsite work in Fort Meade, MD.

  • Maintaining and operating the CI/CD pipeline, including tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD
  • Ensuring the integration of security tools and processes into the CI/CD pipeline, including static code analysis, dynamic code analysis, and vulnerability scanning
  • Implementing and maintaining automated testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing
  • Collaborating with the development team to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities and weaknesses in the deployed software product
  • Implementing and maintaining compliance with relevant security regulations and standards
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with CI/CD concepts and methodologies, including building and maintaining automated pipelines.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with automation tools for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
  • Proficiency with version control tools and technologies (e.g., Git, GitLab, JIRA)
  • Strong understanding of Linux systems administration and networking principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Commitment to adhering to strict security protocols and best practices.
  • US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance with an active Counter Intelligence (CI) Polygraph.
  • Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, C/C++)
  • Familiarity with containerized software engineering practices and technologies.
  • Familiarity with agile software engineering methodologies.
  • Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with security scanning and vulnerability management tools.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Security+).
