Requirements

  • Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g. Python, Bash, Go)
  • Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and services
  • Exposure to Linux and command-line tools
  • Experience with Git or other version control systems
  • Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn in a collaborative environment
  • Working towards B.S. in Computer Science/related major or equivalent combination of existing education (including technical school training and certifications in networks and servers) and applicable job experience

Nice To Haves

  • Academic or project experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS or GCP
  • Exposure to containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD systems
  • Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools

Responsibilities

  • Provisions and manages cloud infrastructure (e.g., Azure, AWS) under guidance
  • Develops and maintains application and IaC CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Octopus Deploy)
  • Writes Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and scripting tools (e.g., Python, Go, Bash, PowerShell)
  • Supports monitoring, alerting, and logging efforts (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Azure Monitor)
  • Participates in team rituals such as code reviews, standups, and sprint demos
  • Collaborates with engineering teams to gather infrastructure requirements and enhance deployment reliability
  • Contributes to documentation and internal knowledge-sharing
  • Confirms completion of required training plan before assuming job responsibilities
  • Ensures work is performed in compliance with company policies including Privacy/HIPAA and other regulatory, legal, and safety requirements
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
