DevOps Engineer Summary: Work closely with development, operations, and other teams to improve communication and collaboration, with a focus on feature analysis, development, and configuration. This role will build and maintain tools and infrastructure to facilitate efficient software development and deployment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • Prior experience as a DevOps engineer or in related roles (e.g., system administrator, developer)
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools (Dynatrace, Kubernetes, GitHub) for packaging and deploying applications
  • Working knowledge and experience in Agile development methodologies
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and tools

  • Position may be remote/hybrid/on-site (Evansville, IN)
  • Some travel required
  • Valid driver's license or willingness to travel across state lines required

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for automated software release
  • Automating tasks throughout the software development lifecycle, including build, test, and deployment processes
  • Setup and monitoring systems to track performance, identify potential problems, and analyze logs
  • Working closely with development, operations, and other teams to improve communication and collaboration
  • Write and maintain automation scripts and code for tasks like infrastructure provisioning and deployment
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving technical issues
  • Travel to Evansville, IN office twice a year (for remote personnel)
