About The Position

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining internal tools that help coordinate and manage all our web-based applications. You will automate our deployment pipeline for several products, ensuring Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment practices are followed. Your role will also involve setting up automated reporting tools, logging, and monitoring services, as well as configuring and monitoring new and existing web applications. You will implement and maintain security procedures and optimize the technologies used for efficient software design and architecture. Daily tasks will include applying design patterns and best practices, designing and maintaining software modules, and creating solutions for multi-host and multi-location server architectures. Additionally, you will technically review changes made by other DevOps developers and support development team members in automating deployment and testing pipelines. You will also be responsible for preparing and suggesting technical improvements and proof of concepts.

Requirements

  • Experience with Jira and Confluence
  • Proficiency in Git, Jenkins, Travis, and GitLab CI
  • Knowledge of Ansible, Chef, Docker/Kubernetes
  • Experience with Linux Servers
  • Proficiency in Python and Bash
  • Familiarity with network devices
  • Experience with Nginx, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
  • Knowledge of AWS and Azure
  • Familiarity with VS Code, PyCharm, Puppet, and Fabric
