About The Position

At The Language Doctors, we deliver high-quality linguistic services with an expanding global presence. We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with a strong background in cloud security, infrastructure automation, and DevSecOps practices. This role bridges software development, IT operations, and application security, ensuring our systems are scalable, resilient, and compliant with the highest security standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
• 3+ years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Application Security.
• Strong experience with AWS, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code.
• Knowledge of security frameworks (OWASP, NIST, CIS) and compliance standards (HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001).
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Go for automation and scripting.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and automate cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
• Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket) with integrated security and compliance controls.
• Maintain and update third-party dependencies, container images, and open-source libraries to reduce risk.
• Implement and manage security tools (SAST, DAST, SCA, SBOM, container scanning) within CI/CD pipelines.
• Generate and maintain SBOMs to ensure transparency and traceability of software components.
• Collaborate with Dev, Ops, and InfoSec teams to enforce secure coding and deployment practices.
• Monitor vulnerabilities, automate patching, and provide risk visibility through dashboards and reports.
• Support compliance with frameworks such as HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and CMMC.
• Participate in incident response, auditing, and continuous security improvement initiatives.
