In this role as a DevOps Engineer, you will participate in the entire development lifecycle, from planning through implementation, security, testing, and deployment, all the way to production. You will own the ideal pipeline blueprint that developers will base new applications on, manage systems integrations, and guide tool selection. Your responsibilities will include building tools that help engineers rapidly develop new applications and ensure their changes work flawlessly in production. You will also learn our stack inside and out, and triage cross-cutting issues in our environment. You will be expected to have experience in Linux platform and shell scripting, troubleshooting and performing installation of open-source toolsets in Linux OS, and familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, and the release process. Additionally, you should be familiar with Docker containers and deployment with Kubernetes. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, along with 3+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering, and public cloud experience on AWS is a must. You will also need experience with continuous integration platforms such as Jenkins, CodeBuild, Gitlab, etc., and AWS certification is a plus. Close involvement with developer communities and open-source web technologies is also essential.
