About The Position

DevOps Engineer supports Quantexa application, systems and services that ensure the SMBC meets its legal and regulatory responsibilities and obligations in connection with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) efforts.

Requirements

• 7+ years of practical work experience with software and systems implementation, preferably in the AML, Fraud, Financial crime space.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or information Systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support applications in Scala / Python framework.
• Strong knowledge of Scala (preferred), Python, Java, R, or similar object-oriented language.
• Create and deploy applications in Azure environment with various interconnected azure components.
• Experience with Azure cloud services, Azure Data Factory, Gen 2, Azure Databricks, etc.
• Experience in Elasticsearch.
• Advanced working SQL knowledge on relational databases, preferably on MS SQL Server and databases on Azure cloud.
• Experience with the DevOps lifecycle (git, ADO, Jenkins etc.).
• Experience with Jira/Confluence.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Experience with REST web services and microservice architecture.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction through the delivery of high quality, timely, SLA and solutions to problems.
• Communicate effectively and pro-actively with business users, support teams, vendor, and all stakeholders.
• Strong solid analytical skills for diagnosing and troubleshooting potential system issues; Sharp mind to process solution with quick turn-around.
