About The Position

The DevOps Engineer position is responsible for building and coding applications and models using various programming languages, with a strong emphasis on C++, Python, JavaScript, AWS Glue, Athena, QuickSuite, and database languages. The role involves analyzing large amounts of data and applying machine learning and statistical approaches to optimize and improve product development. The engineer will participate in the software development life cycle (SDLC) and CI/CD processes, ensuring the delivery of software products to customers. Knowledge of cloud infrastructure technologies, specifically AWS and Azure, is essential, along with familiarity with Active Directory and Azure Enterprise Apps Single Sign-On (SSO). The position also requires preparing and supporting process and workflow standardization, performing testing procedures, collaborating with end-users, and updating technical documentation. The engineer will prepare reports on analyses and project progress, perform research on emerging technologies, and may require domestic travel up to 10%.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other Engineering discipline; or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
• 1+ years of experience is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of the fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures used in Cloud Infrastructure.
• Related experience in analytic programming, data extraction, querying databases/data warehouses and data analysis.
• Self-motivated, team player, and creative mindset that no task is too small.
• Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development.

Responsibilities

• Builds and codes applications and/or models using various computer programming languages with a strong emphasis in C++, Python, JavaScript, AWS Glue, Athena, QuickSuite and database languages.
• Analyzes large amount of data, applies Machine Learning and statistical approaches to drive optimization and improvement of product development.
• Participate in software development life cycle (SDLC) & CI/CD Processes, including delivery of software products to our customers.
• Knowledge of cloud (AWS & Azure) infrastructure Cloud technologies services using Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft (MS) Azure.
• Familiar with System environment running AD DS (Active Directory).
• Familiar with Azure Enterprise Apps Single Sign On (SSO) and AWS Identity Center.
• Prepares and support process and workflow standardization from which code will be written.
• Performs a variety of testing procedures on assigned products, analyzes test results, and corrects problem.
• Collaborates with end-users to identify problems and formulate specific requirements.
• Supports writing and updating technical documentation such as user’s manuals, product specifications, and training materials.
• Prepares reports on analyses, findings, and project progress, and presents results to management.
• Performs research on emerging technologies to determine impact on application execution.
• Domestic Travel required up to 10%.
• Other duties as assigned.
