Ensure the safety and security of our nation as a Systems Engineer (DevOps) at GDIT. Our work depends on the Systems Engineer (DevOps) joining our team to support the deployment of systems and capabilities centered on our comprehensive motion imagery software suite. The DevOps Engineer will support operations of a non-internet accessible on-prem hybrid environment built primarily on Kubernetes.

Provide an array of skills within the DevOps discipline.
Support the deployment of systems and capabilities centered on motion imagery software.
Utilize development and/or scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, Java, C#).
Manage source code using tools like Git and artifact repositories.
Implement automation tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, and Rundeck.
Work with build/packaging tools such as Gradle, Maven, and Poetry.
Employ DevSecOps principles including strict configuration management and continuous delivery.
Build, secure, and operate containers in a dynamic environment.
Administer Kubernetes clusters and deploy workloads using Helm.

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
5+ years of related DevOps engineering experience.
Bachelor's or Technology degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated experience in building and deploying workloads in Kubernetes.
Knowledge of container and Linux host networking.
Experience with Apache Kafka and Elastic stack.
Excellent organizational, coordination, interpersonal, and team building skills.
Proven problem-solving skills in complex environments.
