About The Position

As a Top Secret cleared DevOps Engineer for this program, you will be working in an organization that's mission is to develop and operate the best possible software for critical national security enterprise applications. This organization leverages SCRUM and SAFE Agile software development methodology and strong Dev Ops practices. You will be responsible for the design, deployment, testing, certification, operations, patching, addressing interoperability issues, of DevSecOps infrastructure tools, including all operating systems, support libraries, components, and application dependencies. You will deploy and configure services using infrastructure as a service provider and use scripting or basic programming skills to solve problems.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with 3 years of related technical specialized experience.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or other related field.
  • In absence of degree, additional years of experience may be substituted for educational requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the design, deployment, testing, certification, operations, patching, addressing interoperability issues, of DevSecOps infrastructure tools, including all operating systems, support libraries, components, and application dependencies.
  • Responsible for the primary Operations and Maintenance workforce multiple tools.
  • Deploys and configures services using infrastructure as a service provider.
  • Configures and manages Linux-based servers to serve a dynamic website.
  • Debugs cluster-based computing architectures.
  • Uses scripting or basic programming skills to solve problems.
  • Installs and manages open-source monitoring tools.
  • Collaborate and provide guidance to junior team members.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • Automate processes and improve existing infrastructure.
  • Monitor and maintain system health and respond to performance issues.
  • Implement configuration management solutions to maintain consistency across environments.
  • Work closely with the development and operations teams to streamline release and deployment processes.
