We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain resilient, high-performance on-premises cloud and infrastructure platforms. This role focuses on building scalable systems that support complex workloads, including GPU-intensive rendering and AI/ML pipelines, while optimizing operational efficiency. The successful candidate will collaborate across engineering, creative, and security teams to deliver robust solutions, automate deployment workflows, and ensure system reliability. You will also drive the adoption of infrastructure-as-code practices, implement CI/CD pipelines, and monitor system performance in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools and technologies, contributing directly to mission-critical infrastructure that powers creative production.

  • Design, build, and manage on-premises cloud and virtualization platforms, including Kubernetes and OpenNebula.
  • Deploy, monitor, and optimize containerized workloads, including GPU-heavy applications.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for software and creative workflows.
  • Automate provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, and Packer.
  • Set up, configure, and maintain physical infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking equipment.
  • Administer Linux and Windows environments across infrastructure systems.
  • Monitor system health and performance using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
  • Maintain backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes.
  • Ensure secure data handling, encryption, and access control in line with compliance standards.
  • Document processes, runbooks, and system architectures; provide technical support and troubleshooting.
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering.
  • Strong Linux and Windows administration skills across multiple distributions.
  • Hands-on Kubernetes experience: cluster setup, configuration, management, and optimization.
  • Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools, including Terraform, Ansible, and Packer.
  • Familiarity with on-prem cloud platforms such as OpenNebula.
  • Experience with physical infrastructure setup (servers, storage, networking) and software-defined networking.
  • Scripting experience in Python and Bash.
  • Understanding of CI/CD principles and pipeline design.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, creative environments and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with GPU orchestration and AI/ML pipelines.
  • Knowledge of creative software tools (Deadline, Nuke, Houdini, Maya).
  • Containerized GUI applications or remote app deployment experience.
  • Background in VFX, gaming, architecture, or scientific computing.
  • Open-source contributions or community involvement.
  • Competitive salary ($130k–$145k DOE).
  • Remote work flexibility.
  • Professional development and hands-on experience with cutting-edge infrastructure technologies.
  • Opportunity to work on GPU-intensive and AI-enhanced workloads.
  • Collaborative, cross-functional, and innovative work environment.
  • Exposure to high-performance rendering and creative production pipelines.
