About The Position

The DevOps Engineer position at SNC involves working in an agile environment to develop and manage cloud-based Data & Analytics solutions. The role focuses on defining, designing, developing, testing, and improving data pipelines and other components, while ensuring best practices in CI/CD and infrastructure management. The engineer will collaborate with the Data Warehouse Technical Team to enhance the overall efficiency and reliability of the cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field with typically 6 or more years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Azure or AWS Infrastructure as Cloud: Terraform (preferred), Ansible, Cloud Formation, ARM Templates, Chef, Puppet.
• Experience with CI/CD Pipelines (YAML Based): AWS, Azure, GIT Hub.
• Scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, Python (Boto3), AWS CLI, or Azure CLI.
• An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required.

Nice To Haves

• M365/O365 experience and Identity Architecture (SAML, OAuth, AzureAD, Okta, etc….)
• Visio and diagramming skills/experience
• Experience with Checkmarx, Fortify, SonarQube, Aqua, Twistlock
• Github action development

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure on the Azure Cloud Platform.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps tools to automate the deployment process.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts using tools such as Terraform and Bicep.
• Set up and manage monitoring tools to ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Automate routine tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
