About The Position

ProSidian Seeks a DevOps Engineer | Development and Implementation [GMU0016015] for Information Technology on a Exempt 1099 Contract: No Overtime Pay Basis Contract Contingent located CONUS - Fairfax VA Across The Mid Atlantic Region supporting strategic delivery of Government and Public Services Sector Human Capital Solutions through Temporary Help Services and Recruiting/Staff Augmentation capabilities for the City of Charlotte (COC). Seeking DevOps Engineer candidates with relevant Education, And Academia Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Education, And Academia Sector Clients such as GMU. This as a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Development and Implementation Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Discipline Professional - IT Consulting and Staff Augmentation Services Position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position. JOB OVERVIEW Provide services and support as a DevOps Engineer [IT Consulting and Staff Augmentation Services] in the Education, And Academia Industry Sector focusing on Human Capital Solutions for clients such as George Mason University (GMU) | George Mason University | Information Technology Services (ITS) Generally Located In CONUS - Fairfax VA and across the Mid Atlantic Region (Of Country/World). Design, build, and deliver—transforming ideas into scalable IT solutions that drive measurable outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related.
  • 3–5 years in DevOps roles.
  • Skills Required: Jenkins, Git, scripting, cloud platforms.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Education and Academia Sector.
  • Proficiency with business tools and technology, including Microsoft Office.
  • Advanced with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Proficient with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio.
