About The Position

In this role, you’ll power up the build and release systems behind a brand-new AA title, making sure every feature ships smoothly into the hands of players. Your tools are CI/CD, cloud, and containers; your loot is seeing hundreds of devs move faster because of your work. You’ll get to break things (safely), fix things (cleverly), and automate everything in between. Requirements

  • Previous professional experience as a DevOps/Build/Infrastructure Engineer in a game studio
  • Proven track record with CI/CD for game engines (Unreal, Unity, or proprietary)
  • Deep knowledge of build systems for PC and at least one console (PlayStation, Xbox, Switch)
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or hybrid setups supporting game services
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi or similar)
  • Containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
  • Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar)
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tailored for game builds and online services

Responsibilities

  • Build, operate, and maintain the deployment pipelines (CI/CD) for a multi-platform AA game (PC & consoles)
  • Ensure smooth build and release flows for game engines, content pipelines, and assets
  • Design infrastructure as code (IaC) and maintain scalable, reliable build/test environments
  • Automate monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability to catch issues before they hit players
  • Advocate for best practices in game development operations, reliability, security, and automation
