About The Position

We are seeking compassionate, energetic, non-judgmental professionals with a positive attitude and a desire to make a difference to join our Lynnwood Detox team. Shifts are 12 hours. Behavioral Health Technician perform a variety of patient care procedures which may include measuring patient vital signs (weight, height, blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature); managing the non-nursing portion of the patient admission; obtaining admission urine tests and performing TB screening/testing per unit policy; orienting patient to the unit and rooming patient; and informing nursing staff of patient reports of medication effectiveness. Applicants must successfully pass a criminal background check and pre-employment health screening drug test. Requirements

  • A compassionate understanding of chemical dependence as a disease; preference to persons in recovery from chemical dependency.
  • Valid Washington State Driver’s License, acceptable driving record and be able to operate a company vehicle without restriction.
  • Applicants must successfully pass a criminal background check and pre-employment health screening drug test.

  • Washington State Department of Health Certified Nursing Assistant a plus
