About The Position

In addition to operating the most innovative detention facilities in the country, the Office of the Sheriff provides patrol services throughout the county including three contract cities for which it provides total police services. We are seeking to fill one (1) full-time vacancy in the classification of Detention Services Supervisor assigned to the Office of the Sheriff. The Detention Services Supervisor plays a key leadership role by overseeing janitorial and maintenance staff who ensure the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the County's detention facilities. This position coordinates daily work schedules, manages supplies, works directly with vendors, and is responsible for the care and maintenance of the facility. The Detention Services Supervisor reports to the Director of Support Services.
