About The Position

The Detention Officer-PT position at the Texas Association of Counties involves overseeing the security and care of inmates within a correctional facility. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Texas Driver's License is required.
• Must pass background and records check, psychological test, physical exam, and drug test.
• State certification is a plus.
• Ability to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities
