This position is located in the Sheriff's Department at the Detention Center and is the main contact for public information at and about the jail. The role involves assisting the public in person and on the phone, coordinating visitors, taking DNA samples on non-incarcerated convicted felons when requested, and conducting fingerprinting for the public. Additionally, the position requires testing participants in the 24x7 sobriety program using a Portable Breath Test (PBT) and performing a variety of clerical duties in support of the Detention Center. This position reports to the Detention Center Program Director and does not directly supervise other County personnel.
