About The Position

Are you a current or former law enforcement professional interested in helping shape the future of AI? Large-scale AI systems are increasingly used to support public safety, investigative analysis, and decision-making. High-quality training data grounded in real-world policing experience is essential to ensure these systems are accurate, responsible, and aligned with real operational needs. This project relies on your professional insight to help train and evaluate next-generation AI models. In this project, you will apply your experience as a detective or police officer to interact with AI models on law enforcement–related scenarios. This includes reviewing and evaluating model responses involving criminal investigations, patrol operations, report writing, evidence handling, interviewing techniques, use-of-force considerations, procedural justice, and ethical decision-making. You will identify inaccuracies, gaps in reasoning, or unrealistic assumptions and document where models fail to reflect real-world law enforcement practices. On a typical day, you may review AI-generated case scenarios, assess the realism and procedural correctness of investigative steps, validate terminology and workflows, and provide written feedback explaining what is correct, what is incorrect, and why. You may also help clarify edge cases, common misconceptions about policing, and differences between policy, law, and real-world application. This project is well suited for individuals with professional experience in law enforcement, including patrol officers, detectives, investigators, or members of specialized units. Experience with report writing, case management systems, courtroom preparation, or interagency coordination is highly valuable. Clear written communication and the ability to explain decision-making and reasoning in plain language are essential. No prior AI or technical background is required. Training and guidelines will be provided. What matters most is your real-world law enforcement experience, attention to detail, and willingness to thoughtfully engage with AI systems.
