About The Position

As Steel Detailer / BIM Modeler, you will be responsible for detailing all components of a custom metal building system including the primary steel framing, secondary steel framing, wall panel systems, roof panel systems, and all associated flashings and trims to ensure all components fit together correctly as part of a complete design solution. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Basic math, geometry, and trigonometry skills
Experience operating CAD software
Over one year experience with Tekla Structures or similar 3D modeling software.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US (NUCOR will not sponsor the need for a visa now or in the future)

Nice To Haves

Minimum Associates degree or two-year vocational school certification with focus on Architecture, Drafting, Construction Management or Engineering Technology
Prior metal building detailing experience
