Nucor Towers and Structures (NTS) is a new entity within Nucor, the largest recycler and largest manufacturer of steel and steel products in North America, focused on the execution of our strategy to 'Expand Beyond' our core business. As a part of Nucor's New Markets product group, NTS is focused on the exciting growth potential in the power distribution market. Our existing production facility is in West Hazleton, PA, and we are expanding our national presence with three new greenfield facilities in Decatur, AL, Crawfordsville, IN, and Brigham City, UT. Nucor Towers & Structures Inc, a division of Nucor, is seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Detailing Coordinator at our business unit located in Decatur, AL and West Hazleton, PA.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for production, addressing and resolving any questions or issues related to detailing and drawings.
  • Act as a liaison between the detailing team and customers, facilitating clear and effective communication to ensure that project requirements are understood and met.
  • Coordinate with the detailing team to ensure timely delivery of drawings and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Maintain a strong relationship with customers' engineering teams, addressing inquiries and concerns related to detailing and drawings.
  • Manage and implement drawing changes as required, reviewing drawings for accuracy and communicating changes to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of all drawing changes, shop inquiries, and customer interactions.
  • Review drawings for accuracy and completeness before they are sent to the shop or customers.
  • Make minor revisions to drawings to support production requirements.
  • Three years drafting experience, or one year drafting experience and a college degree in Drafting or a related field.
  • College degree in Drafting.
  • Autodesk Inventor experience.
  • Project Lifecycle Management software experience.
  • ERP - Microsoft D365 experience.
