About The Position

Vulcraft Utah is seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented candidates for the position of 3D Modeler/Joist & Deck Detailer located in office at the Brigham City plant. This full-time, entry-level role is responsible for the project coordination and complete development of the 3D model, approval and placement plans, and bills of material according to project specifications and product requirements utilizing a comprehensive 3D modeling program. Nucor is a Pay for Performance Company with compensation for this role starting @$21.96/hour.

Requirements

• Ability to visualize in a 2D/3D environment.
• High school Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must be seeking full-time employment. No part-time roles available currently.

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating drafting or 3D software.
• Prior experience in construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop electronic models of buildings using advanced drafting software.
• Read and interpret structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and design requirements.
• Prepare detailed drawings required for customer approvals.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Teammates and Customers.
