About The Position
Teph Seal Auto Appearance is seeking dedicated Detail Specialists to join our team in Hartford, CT. This flat rate detail shop position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to delivering exceptional customer service. As a Detail Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the facilities of the store and ensuring that customers receive the highest level of satisfaction through quality service and products. You will be part of a strong team that values each member's contribution and fosters a culture of innovation and excellence. In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks related to the detailing and cleaning of vehicles. This includes washing the exterior of vehicles using various cleaning solutions, waxing and buffing vehicles, vacuuming interiors, cleaning upholstery and surfaces, and applying preservation chemicals to protect against stains. You may also be required to clean engine compartments and use different types of dyes, paints, and waxes to protect vehicle interiors. Flexibility is key, as you may be assigned additional duties based on operational needs. The working conditions are physically demanding, requiring frequent movement such as bending, lifting, and reaching. You will work both indoors and outdoors, often under varying climate conditions, and will be responsible for moving numerous vehicles throughout the day. Safety is paramount, and you will use OSHA-approved cleaning products to ensure a safe working environment. Attention to detail is crucial, as you will need to inspect your work and that of your team members to ensure the highest quality standards are met. Adherence to uniform and grooming standards is also required to maintain a professional appearance.
