About The Position
Teph Seal Auto Appearance is seeking dedicated Detail Specialists to join our team in Tuscumbia, AL. This flat-rate position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to delivering exceptional customer service. As a Detail Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the facilities of the store and ensuring that customers receive the highest level of satisfaction through quality service and products. You will be involved in driving, detailing, and cleaning vehicles, contributing to the overall appearance and condition of the vehicles we service. In this role, you will utilize your manual dexterity and bodily coordination to perform a variety of tasks. These include washing the exterior of vehicles with various cleaning solutions, waxing and buffing vehicles using cloths and buffing machines, vacuuming the interiors to remove dirt and debris, and cleaning upholstery and surfaces. You may also be required to use air compressors and cloths to dry surfaces and apply preservation chemicals to protect against spots and stains. Additionally, you may need to clean and remove grease from engines or engine compartments. Flexibility is key, as you may be assigned additional duties by management based on operational needs. The working conditions can be physically demanding, requiring frequent movement such as bending, lifting, reaching, and squatting. You may work outdoors and under varying climate conditions, moving numerous vehicles throughout the day. Safety is paramount, and you will use safe and OSHA-approved waxes and cleaners. The role demands constant attention to detail, as you will need to inspect your work and that of your team members for quality assurance. Adherence to uniform and grooming standards is strictly enforced, reflecting our commitment to professionalism and customer service.
