About The Position

Position Summary: Provide quality service in all aspects of The Ice Cream Shop. Follow established side work guidelines to exact specifications. Organize and maintain station and equipment in a neat and orderly fashion that meets manager’s expectations. Communicate with team to complete a successful shift. Maintain and contribute to a positive work environment. Pay Rate: The rate of pay listed on job boards are auto-generated numbers. Kiawah Island Golf Resort’s actual rate of pay will be determined during the hiring process. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate required. Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations. Ability to communicate in English with guests, coworkers, and management to their understanding. Point of Sales system (Agilisys or other) / Foodservice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Properly follow all processes that are in place.
  • Properly rotate all food and drink products in stock.
  • Maintain and strictly abide by state sanitation/health regulations and resort requirements.
  • Contribute to the growth and success of the team.
  • Communicate effectively between FOH and BOH.
  • Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and follow through with assigned tasks.
  • Ability to be a clear thinker, remains calm, and resolves problems using good judgment.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Ability to keep a clean, neat, and organized work environment.
  • All other duties, as assigned.
