About The Position

Join a highly skilled technical team working as a Desktop Support Technician! This position will provide IT support for advanced laboratories focused on developing and testing aerospace technologies. These labs serve as workstations for a variety of engineering activities. As result of growing business, we are hiring desktop technicians to support hardware, software, systems and government security regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to end-users and clients.
Provide software & hardware support for Laboratory locations.
Support local infrastructure at an enterprise level.
Maintain Windows and Linux systems and upgrade products as needed.
Work within and upgrade legacy technologies.
Troubleshoot Windows, Linux, Red Hat, Ubuntu, and Solaris.
Comprehend and implement new policies and procedures with IT teams and end-users.
Maintain knowledge articles and document resolutions.
Identify gaps in processes and propose ideas to improve efficiencies.
Communicate with customers in regards to system outages and maintenance activities.
Help maintain related cybersecurity records in order to demonstrate compliance to contractual and government regulations.
Collaborate with Digital Technology teams to drive tasks to completion.
Interface with multiple Digital Technology solutions, including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Network Access Control (NAC), Active Directory (AD) Services, Endpoint Protection (EPP), Network Segmentation, and Vulnerability Management (VM).
Multitask workloads and prioritize resolutions.
