The Desktop Support role is situated in a fast-paced environment, focusing on the build, configuration, and deployment of laptops and desktops. The position involves assisting in identifying end-of-life (EOL) hardware and requires the installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of Windows operating systems. The role also includes troubleshooting issues with the Microsoft Office suite and managing time, equipment tracking, and deliverables effectively. Quality Assurance Testing (QAT) of equipment is a key responsibility, along with the shipment and coordination of equipment to homes and satellite offices as required. Day 1 support includes logging into the equipment, making user-requested adjustments, and providing orientation. Ongoing IT support for Windows Hardware Migration and assistance with organizing and disposal of IT Hardware Assets are also part of the job. Financial and/or Enterprise experience is required.
