About The Position

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Desktop Support position. This is a contract role with a duration of 3 months, located in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday. As a Desktop Support, you will assist clients with hardware and software issues, providing on-site or remote technical assistance. This includes setting up computer hardware systems, installing and upgrading software, and troubleshooting basic IT issues. The role may involve specialization in different desktop operating systems.

Requirements

• Experience in IT support, particularly with desktop operating systems.
• Familiarity with InTune and ServiceNow is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site or remote technical assistance to clients.
• Set up computer hardware systems.
• Install and upgrade software.
• Troubleshoot basic IT issues.
• Assist approximately 4 appointments a day with different users.
• Take inventory and prepare machines for use.
• Walk users through technical processes.
• Pack and ship laptops as needed.
