About the position
The Desktop Support position involves direct interaction with a diverse user base across the organization, requiring the ability to manage multiple concurrent issues with limited supervision. The role is responsible for ensuring the stability and ongoing operations of the computing environment, acting as a liaison between users and the corporate Information Services team. The incumbent must possess strong technical skills in supporting a Windows-based environment and demonstrate effective problem-solving abilities to provide timely solutions to users' needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for all devices connected to the computing environment.
- Install and configure tablet, laptop, desktop, and server computers, printers, and other peripherals.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues and provide user support in an enterprise-wide organization.
- Collaborate with corporate and international IT staff to maintain a stable working environment.
- Assist in implementing and supporting IT products and services that meet user expectations.
- Provide second-level support for Collaboration & Audio Video technology.
Requirements
- High level of knowledge in supporting a Windows-based client computing environment.
- Robust hardware troubleshooting skills and significant user support experience.
- Ability to install and configure various computing devices and peripherals.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage conflicting priorities.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

- Knowledge of Collaboration & Audio Video technology such as Smart Board, Microsoft Surface Hub, Cisco Video Conferencing, and Crestron.
