About The Position

The Tier I Desktop Support position at Enetics Networks involves providing exceptional technical support and customer service to clients. The role serves as the first point of contact for customers needing assistance with computer software and hardware issues. The specialist will work closely with Tier II/III staff to install and configure software and equipment, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction while managing support requests through various channels.

Requirements

  • Configuration of common Windows software and PC hardware.
  • Experience with Active Directory.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate orally and in writing with a positive customer service attitude.
  • Must be able to lift 20lbs occasionally in a business setting.
  • Must have a working vehicle and valid driver's license.
  • Must live in the greater Seattle Area (Everett to Tacoma).

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Windows installations and refresh cycles.
  • Experience troubleshooting and helping out with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Familiarity with small networks (switches and firewalls).
  • Identifying and removing malware and viruses.

Responsibilities

  • Help solve issues with computer hardware and software.
  • Prepare hardware (laptops/tablets/desktop) for distribution to end users.
  • Help keep documentation up to date.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with user access to cloud and on-premises services.
  • Follow best practices while managing tickets and project tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with teammates to escalate issues when necessary.
  • Assist with the creation of policies around the proper use of Office 365 services and support.
