Requirements

  • 1 – 3 years’ experience in a hospital or physician practice setting.
  • 5 – 7 years’ experience within an IT department or IT function.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Windows OS and Server, troubleshooting IT issues, computer maintenance, and other IT concerns or issues.
  • Ability to multitask, can work in a fast-paced clinical environment, can engage patients, peers, and supervisors in a dedicated, comforting, respectful, and effective way, and has the ability to adapt to change.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree, High School Diploma, or GED
  • Higher education may be substituted for experience

Responsibilities

  • This position assists staff with technical support of desktop computers, applications, printers, phones, and related technology.
  • Support includes installation and testing of computer systems and peripherals within established standards and guidelines.
  • Activities require interaction with application software and operating systems to diagnose and resolve unique, non-recurring problems.
